grant writing

There is only one constant in healthcare: change, continual changes in policies, guidelines, practices, and procedures. Most of the changes are based on evidence-based practices (EBP), but where does the evidence emit? The answer is from change projects or research. Then there are the questions of who funds the projects and or the research? While research is the catalyst for inevitable changes, the financing and cost for change are not always as forthcoming. Yet, providers, facilities, and organizational systems rely upon financing to make the necessary changes. Therefore, when writing for a health care grant, the writer must assess the necessity or need. When proposing a grant, necessity, cost, and benefits are the key elements (Ames & Owens, 2020).
