If the amendment has more than one part, such as the 1st amendment, you will pick one portion of the amendment and write about that. For example, if you use the 1st amendment, you can only write about freedom of religion, or freedom of the press or freedom of speech, or the right to assembly. 

You can pick any of the amendments, but only write about one amendment and one part if it has multiple parts. I want you to dig deep about the part you choose.
