Since we have elections for our representatives in the U.S., our elected officials are often sensitive to what the American public thinks especially when it comes to new issues, like emerging technology where public opinion is still shifting. For our current event this week, we’re going to take a look at the rising use of facial recognition technology. Lawmakers at the local, state, and national level are beginning to take notice of the increased use of facial recognition technology by law enforcement and private companies.
