WEEK 5: Final Project Overview and Checklist

Part 1:  KUD Lesson Plan #3  

·  Complete your third and final lesson plan, KUD Lesson Plan #3, using the KUD Lesson Planning Template. (Create your third plan following the specifications provided for Plans #1 and #2 in Weeks 3 and 4.)

Part 2:  Build your Google Classroom

Your Google Classroom must include:

·  Write a messageto the students for whom the Google Classroom was created that includes a welcome message that includes: 1) an introduction to the unit and 2) a means to get support at any time

·  Three lessons(based on 3 KUD lesson plans you have developed in Week 3, 4, and 5)

Each Lesson should have:

·  Engaging questionsand activities in which students must participate

·  Link(s) to supporting multimediato enhance instruction

·  Opportunities to utilize educational technologyother than Google Classroom

·  Example(s) of how you will assessyour students

Part 3: Paper

Provide a written summary of the design of your completed Google Classroom plan.

In your written paper:

·  Must be eight to ten double-spaced pagesin length (not including title and references pages and formatted according to APA style

·  Tittle Page

·  Must include an Introductionparagraph

·  Provide Google Classroom code(so I can access the lessons as a student)

·  Produce a Table of Contentsfor your Google Classroom

·  A copy of your KUD Lesson Plans #1, #2, and #3(must use KUD Lesson Plan Template)

·  Justifydelivering the unit in Google Classroom

·  Evaluatethe level of difficulty you encountered in the process of constructing the Google Classroom

·  Summarize what you perceive as the strengths and weaknessesof the Google Classroom

·  Explain what you would do differentlyif you were to do this project again

·  Must include a Concludingparagraph

·  Reference Page:  Must use at least two scholarly sourcesand the course text
