Topic: Better future comes from a better education

Purpose:

The purpose of my topic is to persuade the general public about the importance of prioritizing out education system.

Audience:

Audience targeted by this project are young adults.

Importance:

There is a positive correlation between people’s level of education and the economic advancement of their country. Once education is prioritized, we’re granted a better quality of life.

Evidence:

A good evidence for this would be statistics that shows that’s countries with better educations systems or used to have a good education system, advanced and those who don’t, didn’t.

Persuasion technique:

I will be using data analysis and will include charts and graphs to represent factual numbers. I will use this technique because charts and graphs are easy to read by anyone, also representing facts is more persuasive than stating an opinion. 

1. Revise the proposal above. What do you want to do with this?  Let's say the general public is persuaded that education is a priority.  What now?  What is it that you are proposing or trying to change?  Are you trying to allocate more money into education?  Are you trying to get more people educated and provide better access to education?  

2. Identify all possible areas where you would integrate graphics.  Justify why these areas would need graphics and what kind would best represent your argument.

3. Research or create one graphic that you may include in to your proposal.  You can use an existing graphic, modify, or create one. You will get extra credit points if you create one (this week). Choose an appropriate graphic based on audience and purpose:

- Consider your audience.  Will they understand what the graphic(s) mean? 

- What is the point of this graphic?  What do you want the reader to know about it? 

- Properly cite the graphic(s)
