Report formatting – important points to note

▪ Title page, P1

▪ A proper title, not just the module number

▪ TOC, P2

▪ Main body, P3 onwards

▪ Text format – Arial or Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5/2 line spacing,

default page margins, all pages except the title page and should have

page numbers

▪ A thumb rule: 1 page = 250 words for double line spacing

▪ You can number the sections and subsections as 1, 1.1, 1.1.1…..

▪ Section headings should be in bold (14pt)

▪ Subsection headings can be in bold or italicised (12 pt)

5.3 Internal analysis (RBV/VRIO or VRIN)

Critical analysis of the resources and capabilities

Identifying strengths/weaknesses and its readiness for addressing

any opportunity and threat

5.4 Summarising through TOWS

6 Strategic choice (approx. 600 words 20%)

Building upon the previous section, identify, critically analyse and

then critically evaluate the strategies adopted by the MNE in the

chosen country

6.1 Generic strategies OR strategy clock AND/OR interactive strategies

6.2 Depending on the organisation, one can study the corporate level

strategy and its impact on the business level strategy

7 Challenges and mitigation (approx. 700 words 25%)

7.1 Critically analyse and evaluate any existing and/or emerging

challenges or potential risks related to doing business in the chosen

country

7.2 Any risk mitigation strategies that have been/might be employed

8 Conclusion (approx. 100 words 10%)
