Fundamentals of Speech Evaluation

SELF EVALUATION ASSIGNMENT DUE 11/15

Now that you have given your first, informative speech you can adequately assess your performance as a speaker.

Write a 2 to 4 page paper that includes a self-report of speaking  skills that were presented during the informative presentation. Provide  critiques that include what was presented well, and what can be improved  for future presentations.

Potential questions to answer-

1. What was done well? Why? How do you know?

2. What needs improvement? Why? How do you know?

3. What adaptations must be made for future presentations?

4. What strategies can you employ to improve?

5. What theories discussed in class or in the textbook can aid you in your improvement as a speaker?

APA FORMAT (NO ABSTRACT REQUIRED) 12 point/Times New  Roman/double-spaced. Yes, you may cite your initial speech video in your  essay in both your References section and your parenthetical  citations. 

At least 1 citation and a References page are required to receive full credit.
