The proposal shall be a one-page document in which you will outline the research problem you are trying to solve, what types of data you would like to leverage to solve it, and what GIS methods or tools from our class you may use. You can search for external GIS data sets, use data from our course, or use data you already have access to. You must also discuss the results of your study and frame them in the context of the problem. You will also be evaluated based on your map products. Note that map products do NOT count toward the total page count. You may submit up to five pages of text in addition to maps.
