Foundation of family and consumer science

 This week we will discuss careers in family and consumer sciences. AFTER reading Chapters 6 - 9 of the textbook, please describe and discuss your thoughts on your career interests. What do you see yourself doing with your degree? What tasks should you be working on right now to help ensure your success in you desired career? Can you see yourself working within any of the fields mentioned in the chapters so far?  

You will be able to express your educated opinion (meaning that your words are based on concepts/research/facts) as you respond to the assigned prompt. Your grade is based on your ability to share your thoughts in a thoughtful, polite, and civil manner. You are also expected to respond to at least one of your classmates about their post. It is expected that all posts and responses will be respectful and professional in nature. This is a skill that you absolutely must have to be successful in our digital world. 

Don't forget: Your initial response should be a minimum of 150 words and you need to respond to AT LEAST ONE of your peers with comments similar to those you would contribute in class (this is practice for the rest of the semester).
