Forgiveness in the World around Us

Choose a specific offense that occurred in a family, personal relationship, community, or in the world.

Write a 5-7 page paper in which you describe:

• what occurred (no more than 1/2 page)
• analyze the likely motivations and injustices felt by each party (or group) involved (1/2 page)
• the challenges and complications to forgiveness in this offense (2 page)
• what forgiveness researchers would suggest be needed to take place for peace or (if appropriate) reconciliation (3 pages)
