 1) Select a project from your home or work. (This could be a new construction, a renovation or a new product idea.) Identify all the significant steps needed to complete this project. For each step, note the resources and time needed. Using Microsoft Project (or similar software) create a timeline (Gantt chart) for this project showing what steps can be done concurrently and those that must occur sequentially. Address the impact of a needed resource not being available at the time scheduled. (Can the project still be completed on time?)
