Video 2:  Declaration of Independence

The video related to this question is America the Story of US: Revolution.  The original video is 45 minutes in length, but instead of the entire video I have found three key parts of it.  The three parts are "Declaration of Independence," "Valley Forge and Small Pox," and "American Revolution."  These three videos total about 17 minutes.  I encourage you to view other videos that you might find on Youtube or other sites.  

Question

Describe and explain why the American Patriots were successful in winning the American Revolution.  Include in your response battle tactics, specific battles, people involved, etc.  

What I want you to describe in your answer is why the American Patriots were victorious against the world's superpower of the time...Great Britain.  The French did not accomplish this or the Spanish, but the American Patriots did...why??
