In our discussion session our TA mentioned that we do not need to do the works cited or references and no direct quotes because sometimes we completely misunderstand what the author is trying to say. Instead we should form our own arguments for what we believe the author is arguing for and then provide any evidence or facts that the author mentions in the article in order to back up our claims.
