I also liked the way you presented the question regarding Liz and Ralph on page 8. Likewise, I like the way that you presented the questions throughout.
However, I think your answer to whether Liz is entitled to the protections of the FMLA is correct but we differ on how we get there. What I was looking for was an explanation of the elements of the FMLA. The problem here is Liz has not been employed long enough to be entitled to benefits from the FMLA. She could pursue her claim through arbitration but it would be unsuccessful not because it is in arbitration but because she is not entitled to its protections.
In terms of the question about CaliforniaLAW
, we were looking to see whether there is a California law about pregnancy discrimination and, if so, whether Liz would be entitled to its protections. Likewise, we were looking for any California law dealing with privacy that mayHELP
