MINI-ETHNOGRAPHY ASSIGNMENT: 

The bulk of your grade will be folded into this mini-ethnography. For this assignment, you will be required to do a number of things: 

1. Identify a site you would like to research. It would be best if the site is relatively unfamiliar to you. I will provide a list of possible sites in the first week of class.

2. Draw up a proposal of your mini-ethnography (DUE OCTOBER 5).

It should include: why this particular site ( what had attracted you ?? look at the place/picture of it  ) ; what are you specifically curious to learn about; the methods you will employ; relation to relevant course materials
