Do not, I repeat do not wait till the day of your visit to call and say that you can not make it. Most offices will still charge you a no-show fee because it is no twenty-four to forty-eight hours prior to your appointment time.

By planning your personal life around your appointments is a good way to stay on top of your appointments. Informing the office of the best ways to contact you can also work in your favor. Some sources of contact are home and cell phone calls, text messaging, emails, and reminder letters. Communication is key. As long as there is a great communication relationship then there should be no reason for any no shows.

Making sure you know how much your insurance copay is can also reduce the rate of no-shows and rescheduled appointments. Most offices will not see any patients if they do not pay thier copay on the day of the visit. Patients will have to reschedule appointments and may be charged a fee for taking up a time slot and not being seen due to there own mishaps. Pre-paying for your appointment can show a sign of commitment and reduce the no show rate easily. Some offices will discharge a patient from the practice if they have so many no-shows, even if the fee was paid every time. No-show fees will be charged every time unless an emergency happens or if a patient has been admitted into the hospital. If patients communicate and be more responsible when it come to appointments then there should be a decrease in the no-show rate.

Have you ever fully read a term of service? I wanted to take some time to talk about a very confusing Issue, terms of service it’s something we all deal with a lot in our life’s. The main point it that even though terms of service are needed, they can be very hard to understand in many ways. The First way is that they often are very long i.e. many pages. The next is that they are often in legal terms which not everyone can understand. They also benefit the compony more than the user. I myself don’t read them, I hit accept then go back at a later   time and read them and save them to my computer. We don’t realize how important they are they give us a rundown of what can and can’t do on the program or site is used for and what are right, but we also need to remember no one has the right to take are right away from us even for using a site so we all should take the time to read and understand the term of services the compony use this to help them is that they make them long on purpose and they use language that not everyone will understand so you won’t read it or if u do you will not understand it. we all must also remember that it is a legal contract and we need to treat it as such. if we don’t one of these times we could find our self’s in a bind. That we might not have been. The Ways term of service could change is to make it easier for everyone to understand. The first way they could do this is to put only the information that we need to know shortens it to sum this up not many read terms of service it is a legal contract so take your time and read them.
