Florida Agriculture

In this assignment, you are going to compile a 2-page, single-spaced report that takes a closer look at one of Florida’s agricultural commodities (The photo above shows some of the more obscure tropical fruit commodities).

Your report should identify a commodity and

• what part(s) of Florida it is produced
• uses
• amount produced annually
• contribution to state economy (in dollars, may also include percentages)
• pest concerns
• possible impact on environment

Your report should include at Works Cited section (this is on the third page, not part of the 2 single-spaced pages). The Works Cited should include least 3 resources (at least one of the resources should be from the primary literature) and, remember, anything you cite at the end of the paper should also be cited in the text of your report.
