Flash Fiction

For this assignment, you will write a rough draft for a piece of flash fiction. Your writing should be:

• approximately 1,500 words
• in a correctly formatted work doc (see template example in this week's module)

It can be any genre (though ideally a discernable genre) and I don't want to impose many other restrictions. That said, I will be looking for the key elements of stories that we've been discussing in class: identifiable setting, characters with some degree of depth, clear theme, some form of climax, etc. I would also appreciate seeing some amount of dialogue if possible, but this is not a requirement.
