What Is Your Curriculum Perspective? is due this week. As you finalize your submission, remember that the goal is not simply to identify an educational philosophy, but to explain how that philosophy connects to the way you understand curriculum.

A few things to keep in mind:

· Your paper should be approximately 3–5 pages and organized using clear headings.

· Begin with a definition of curriculum grounded in the literature.

· Clearly identify and discuss your educational philosophy using one of the philosophical perspectives addressed in the course readings.

· Explain your own curriculum perspective and connect it to your philosophy.

· Compare your perspective with the approach to curriculum used within a school, district, state, or another relevant educational context.

· Go beyond describing similarities and differences by offering specific recommendations for improvement.

· Support your ideas with the course readings and other appropriate scholarly sources, while also incorporating relevant examples from your professional or educational experiences.

· Review your work carefully for organization, clarity, APA 7 formatting, citations, and proofreading before submitting.

Most importantly, I am looking for your thinking throughout this assignment. Use the literature to support and extend your ideas rather than allowing quotations or summaries of sources to dominate the paper.
