Criteria for Success

Please see the rubric at the bottom of the page for a specific breakdown of how this assignment will be graded. 

1. Utilize the template I have provided. It has specific instructions and is formatted appropriately. Points will be lost if the template is not used.
2. Make an attempt to answer each point in the outline, even if you aren't sure. It is better to at least try than to leave things blank. I can provide helpful feedback (and partial credit) if you at least put something, but I can't help if you don't try.
   • There isn't necessarily a right or wrong answer for anything in the outline. Each outline will be unique to you and your project. I'm mostly looking for deep thought about approaching your paper. And if you feel stuck on a particular section, feel free to say that!
3. Don't forget to fill out the reference page. Your paper will be required to have a minimum of 4 peer-reviewed sources. Go ahead and add the proper APA reference citation for each source on your reference page now, and you won't have to worry about it later. Plus, doing it now gives me an opportunity to give you feedback on your references so you can make changes before your next assignment, if necessary.
   • Be aware that you're not locked in on these sources, so it's ok if you find better sources later or want to change which ones you use when you actually write your paper.
