Final Paper

  

The paper should be around 8-10 double spaced pages in length. Your assignment is to discuss how race affects individuals at different points in the criminal justice system. You should address 5 distinct points of entry or processing in the justice system.  Some options include, but are not limited to: eyewitness identification, stop and frisk laws, arrest, bail, plea deals, forensic assessment, risk assessment, jury decision-making, punishment, confessions, competency assessment, insanity evaluation, juvenile rehabilitation, and sentencing. For each of these areas, you should cite one piece of data or theory. Make sure to enumerate (#1, 2, 3, 4,5 ) or demarcate with a heading in bold each of the areas. 

At the end of the paper, you should cite your references in APA style. There must be at least 5 references.  In order to earn full credit, you will need to use data.
