For some readers and viewers, the consequence of adding narrative elements to a short story enriches that story; for others, the consequence of the additions is the superfluous padding of an already completed short story. Choose a short story that has been adapted into a film and explain whether you think the additions enrich the story or merely fill it out to feature length.
