In responding to this week's questions students need to keep in mind that these are "mini essays" more than "discussions". This is the only opportunity that students will have to demonstrate their command of the topics under discussion, so every student should make these responses count. • From the e-Activities and this week’s readings, compare and contrast the practice of slavery in the northern and southern colonies. Investigate the primary ways in which slavery became a race based system and the fundamental reasons the practice ended in the North. Provide support for your response.
