Extra Discussion #1

According to Erickson people face conflicts that must be resolved.  He was interested in social interaction and how relationships affect growth and development.  Erikson was also interested in ego identity.  During this stage in life our sense of self changes due to new experiences and acquired information. The conflict in this stage centers on developing personality identity.  Erikson feels that during the Identify vs Confusion stage is an important process to form a strong identity and to develop a sense of direction in life.
