John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer who raped, tortured and murdered at 33 teenage boys between 1972 and 1978. He became known as the killer clown as he dressed as a clown to attend local charitable events and children birthday parties. He was sentenced to twelve death sentences to be carried out and died by lethal injection on May 9, 1994. Discuss how Gacy’s crimes and murders have influenced culture today.
