(B) Formulate your own research question and generate one research hypothesis from this question. (C) State and operationally define an independent variable and a dependent variable that corresponds to your hypothesis. Finally, identify at least one possible extraneous variable and one possible confounding variable.

Question #2: You are interested in a new “smart pill” that is supposed to increase intelligence incollege students. There is evidence of significantly increased intelligence in 95% of students who have taken the pill. There are no known significant side effects of the pill. What do you conclude about the effectiveness of the pill? Would you take the pill? Why or why not?
