Expectations and Goals

You will base your participation on one (1) of the following conditions:

1. A combination of previous experience and background research to present and support your analysis of that past experience.

2. The context of your current employer and relate to how it may apply within a hospitality environment (Food Service) if you are not already working in a hospitality environment.

Once you select one of the two conditions, each subsequent journal entry should follow the same premise.

Starting with week one, the topic for the week is "Expectations".  As you are starting this final part of your journey to a degree, it is necessary to evaluate your experience within the program. Whether you are starting your internship or have been in the industry prior, it will be necessary to take a deeper look into what you are expecting and your goals for the class and the job.

Explain your goals by elaborating why each is important to you.
