Access your state (indiana) government auditor's website, specifically the audit page. For instance, you could find Ohio's at https://ohioauditor.gov/audits.html . 

Search for an area or program of interest to you. If you can find expenditure topics great, but if not, be specific about the topic you choose. This may be challenging, but continue searching for the most recent audit report (try compliance audits). 

Are there any trends to report on?  Were there any shortfalls or problems identified by the report?  Was the information displayed so that the average citizen could understand it?  How would you improve it if you were the state auditor?
