Value of Physical Evidence
Now that you have learned about some of the types of physical evidence that can be discovered at a crime scene, consider the value of this evidence. Should a prosecutor be able to gain a conviction based solely on physical evidence found at the crime scene? If you were a juror on a murder case that had no eyewitness, no video evidence, and no confession, is it conceivable that you could vote to convict based only on the evidence presented by crime scene and crime lab employees?
If you could not convict based only on physical evidence, explain why.
If you could convict, specify which types of physical evidence could be enough to secure your vote to convict and why.
