Evaluating Tools and Samples Used in Research Studies

The purpose of this assignment is to assess the experimental tools, population, and reproducibility of research studies.

Write a 1,250-1,500 word paper discussing the following:

1. Identify and discuss the types of assessment tools (examples surveys, interviews, pre- and post-tests) that best applies to research study groups.
2. Describe how to use the results of the pilot project to enhance or revise your final study.
3. Discuss the importance of the power, sample size, and generalizability as applied to a population of interest.
4. Explain the importance of reliability and validity in the scientific method.
