In our discussion that began in Module 6, you were provided links to media sources related to case studies in ethical communication. In this module discussion, your instructor will post the detailed outline and one page summary of the case from Module 6 again. All students will participate in this discussion. Please answer the questions below that will help you to critique the findings of the other group. This activity aligns with module outcomes 1 and 2.
Please answer both questions:
- As you read the other group’s summary of the case and its ethical stance and considerations, please articulate your points of agreement or disagreement and explain your reasoning based on what you have learned throughout the course.
- All of these case studies were originally covered in the media and became political. Search for a code of media or journalism ethics, and explain how it might apply in the coverage of this case.
