Topic is Lack of consequence in police departments.

Use these examples below and use other cases as well!

Beginning will be talking about the ethical point of view and how I found an article that states that leading a police department is like raising children. How if you don’t punish it could botch the precession of the that child.

OFFICERS EDDIE MARTINS AND RICHARD HALL – RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT:

arrested a young woman for possession of marijuana, they loaded her into their police van. There, they forced her to perform oral sex on them and raped her

THE WALTER SCOTT CASE –During most traffic stops, the police officer speaks to the driver, hands them a ticket, and sends them on their way. When Officer Michael Slager pulled Walter Scott over for an allegedly broken taillight, this did not happen. Instead, the two men became involved in a physical altercation.

Prosecutors in the upcoming murder trial of Derek Chauvin want to show jurors video of a 2017 arrest in which they say the former Minneapolis police officer jammed his knee into the back of a 14-year-old boy for several minutes while ignoring his pleas that he couldn’t breathe.Then George Floyd happened
