A lot of people don’t think that body cameras would work for people.  Seeing how police officers aren’t always trained right to wear them.  Training is a key issue when it comes to body cameras.  If officers do not wear them right or do not know what the right procedures are it can ruin it. There are some police officers do not even turn their cameras on and will get away with it.  The cameras need to be rolling all day in order for it to work to gain the peoples trust.  People in New York think that it will make their situation even worse than it would help.  People don’t get along with the police no matter what they try and do.  Even on the news article said that the news didn’t think it would help very much.  Also, when they are showing video footage of some incidents, they don’t even always show the full footage or least it looks like they try and hide the video.  So, who knows if the police departments are being honest or not with the footage and video can be edited all time to make it look in someone favor.  (CBS Interactive Inc)  It is hard to trust to police in anything.  I mean even I was nervous when I got pulled over that one day and the police officer was nice and had no issue with him.  Are biggest problem with police is people want to act up and now that the fact they are on camera they cannot defend themselves before how they act.  People need to realize even so there are cameras every people can’t hide anymore.
