Let's begin by watching Julien s. Bourrelle's talk TED Talk "How Culture Drives Behaviours." In it, Julien argues that we see the World through cultural glasses. By changing the glasses you can change the way you interpret the World.

NPR had a piece on Providing Therapy Across Different Cultures. When immigrants face depression, therapy may not be the first option they explore for relief. When they do seek counseling, they often encounter a cross-cultural struggle to understand and be understood by American practitioners. Listen (or read the transcript) to the following piece and begin to think about your own understanding of ethics.
