Instructions:

For this assignment, you will write an argumentative essay over a topic of your choosing. Pick something that fascinates you and take a position on it. Convince the audience that you are right, and support it with one secondary scholarly source, and an additional source of your choosing (primary or secondary). Essay must be in MLA format.

• State what position you will be taking. Explain the significance and draw the reader into the moment.
• Support your argument with specific examples, proof, and data. How does your argument work/exist/function?
• Conclude your paper by answering the question: “so what?” What is the significance of your argument?
