For this assignment, you must listen to the speech (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmyswQs6_Bw)  delivered by abolitionist John Brown in 1859 to the Virginia Court,  when about to receive the sentence of death for his raid at Harper’s  Ferry.  Once you've listened to it, complete the Audio Analysis  Worksheet and also produce a 1-2-page essay in where you explain Brown’s  reasoning for storming the military base at Harper’s Ferry.  What was  Brown’s goal, and how did he aim to achieve it?  What was the outcome?   What was the national response to his efforts?  Be sure to turn in both  the Audio Analysis Worksheet along with the 1-2-page essay.
