Write an argumentative essay in response to this question: 

-What is the purpose of educations?

Remember: the answer to this question is your thesis statement. Your thesis must take a stance. 

-focus on your own educational experiences to this point, as well as your goals and reasons for being in collage think in ideal terms try to go beyond the simple answer of getting a better job what do educational processes do? 

-don't worry about finding a write answer just practice thinking critically about the idea of education itself and go from there. you may also want to consider this: what do you think education should be like? why do you think that?

-Your essay must be at least 5 paragraphs long (including introduction and conclusion.), and no longer than 8 paragraphs. 

-You must use at least 2 outside references. 

-Find 2 additional articles for your topic. One article opposes your ideas and the other supports your idea

Acknowledge the other side: Summarize the reasons for the other side of the argument. If you believe schools should eliminate sports, summarize the arguments of those who say school sports are important. if you think school’s oughts to keep Sports programs as they are, summarize the reasons some say school sports are a problem. Remember to transition from the previous paragraph to the next!!!)

6-For the 6th paragraph (conclusion) needed:

-restate thesis: restate your thesis from paragraph one in a new and original way. (make sure to include a transition.)

-Main points: summarize the first 3body paragraphs. Use 2-3 sentences to remind you readers of your main points.
