Assignment: We each have our own opinions or thoughts about certain things, but it’s important to learn how to look at a topic from both sides. In this assignment, you are to do a little research about a controversial environmental, scientific or medical topic. After you gather enough information, please write a 2-page opinion paper on the topic that you chose. This paper will contain 5 paragraphs – introduction to topic, pro-side, con-side, your personal opinion, conclusion.

Citations. You are welcome to use whichever writing format that you are comfortable with. I have been taught MLA format, but you don't have to use that particular format.
