Reading Response:

-A short written response (300 words) is to be emailed to the instructor by midnight the night before class.

-This reading response should be centered on one of the recent, specific geographic locations and/or events cited in the New York Magazine article.  Describe the intertwined environmental, economical and social implications of this event and how it is representative of larger, global trends in climate change.  Further research may be required to understand the extents of the issue's impact.
