Quite often, those ideas are based on little more than suppositions and prejudice…but this does not mean they are entirely wrong in their beliefs. Pick a current belief about some form of identity with which you at least partially disagree and engage it in a Rogerian Rhetorical Analysis (as per chapter 6 of Writing in Response).
