It is no surprise that Utah has the highest fertility rate in the nation (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2017).  Perhaps that is one of the factors that makes dealing with infertility such a challenge in the Beehive state.  Review this story from KSL regarding Infertility in Utah. (Links to an external site.)

According to the CDC (2013), Utah ranks highest for the number of pregnancies that resulted from infertility treatment.  In addition, there were more twins and triplets born in Utah as a result of infertility therapy (CDC, 2013).  But are the treatments safe?  Affordable?  Effective?

For this Report, investigate the fertility treatment options available in at least three different clinics in Utah.  While there are many treatment options available, look specifically at In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).  Describe the basic process and then compare and contrast the options available at each of the three clinics.  Be sure to include the cost of the treatment, the success rates of the treatment, the patient resources and support provided by each clinic.  What advice would you offer to someone dealing with infertility?
