Essay 2: Change Over Time

You will write about change in your narrowed topic, and your essay must discuss the significance of changes within your topic. You will develop an argument about your topic based on your research. For instance, if my narrowed topic is “the woman as a monster in anime”, I could write about the evolution of women characters in anime and how they’ve been depicted throughout the years and what implications that has on anime’s general audience. Focus on uncovering the history of your topic and using that information to strengthen your argument. You may also discuss what the future may hold for your topic. You must reference each of the sources you use within the body of your essay, whether by quote, paraphrase or other method.

 

All sources are due via forum post on the class Moodle by October 1.

 

Requirements

· Minimum Two pages and half

. NO double space

· 12-point Times New Roman font, MLA format

· Minimum FIVE total sources, must include the following:

o ONE scholarly secondary source, from an academic journal

o ONE secondary, non-fiction book source

o ONE primary, non-fiction source

o ONE primary creative media source

o ONE other source of your choice

· Completed self-evaluation rubric, p61 of the Comp. & Rhet. Guide

· Blank essay rubric, found on p69 of the Comp. & Rhet. Guide

· Moodle submission and hard copy

The essay needs to be expanded more on changing over time that is base on the first essay is talking about a vampire.
