Good Teachers

In "The Heart of a Teacher: Identity and Integrity in Teaching," Parker J. Palmer says, "Good teaching cannot be reduced to technique; good teaching comes from the identity and integrity of the teacher."

In other words, it doesn't really matter what teaching techniques a teacher uses. A good teacher is one who is passionate about the subject he or she is teaching, and a bad teacher is one who doesn't care much about the subject.
