I moved the due date for Directed Assignment B to give you a few extra days.

Directed Assignment B is the Erikson Autobiography and Interview project. Your job is to write your life story framed in Erikson's theory of eight stages of development. For each of the stages, even the ones you haven't been to yet, write about your life experiences and how they relate to Erikson's stages (e.g., for Trust vs. Mistrust did you develop a sense of trust, or not?). For the stages you haven't been to yet (e.g., Generativity vs. Stagnation, Ego-integrity vs. Despair) project yourself into the future; what do you think your life will be like or what do you want it to be like?

Next, interview someone else(e.g., friend, family member, boyfriend, girlfriend, partner) about their life in relation to Erikson's eight stages.

Finally, compare and contrast your life and that of the person you interviewed.
