Interpreting Dietary Data Worksheet (located in “Course Documents” on Blackboard)

Step 1: 

Using your printed dietary report, discuss your intake in terms of meeting/not meeting food group targets.  What are your recommendations based on the information in these reports?

Step 2:  

    Based on Step 1, write a summary of your findings.  Indicate the strengths and weaknesses of your diet, and make overall recommendations for dietary changes.  Concentrate on the areas whereby your intake was either over or under standard dietary recommendations.  What (if any) are the health implications or chronic disease risk factors if your current diet is maintained long-term?  How would you modify your intake to address these risk factors?
