In the 60’s and 70’s, the United States saw a number of movements and protests aimed at changing society.  Pick one of these movements (Civil Rights, Black Power, Red Power, Chicano Movement, or Women's Movement) and discuss the following; why was the movement created, how was the movement fought, who was the target of the movement, and was the movement successful.  Finally, what do you think has happened to these movements in the last 40 years?  Do you see evidence of them continuing? 350-400 words
