Pick a particular moral topic, any moral topic of your choosing, and analyze it from an ethical egoist's perspective.  Remember, the only considerations that matter for egoism are whether the action promotes one's own self interest.  Use this framework to evaluate what is morally right with respect to the topic you've chosen.  Give examples and explain how the ethical egoist would approach things.  Does this seem like the right approach to determine what is morally correct?
