Write an essay of 1500 words that analyzes  literary work and expresses a critical point of view by engaging one or two other interpretations of the work in question, for example,  in scholarly articles or books, or in book reviews. You should write about poem  short story from our antholog, apart from “Friend of My Youth,” “The Bear on the Delhi Road,” and“The Stenographers.” 

Your essay should explicate the work. It should also advance an idea about the work that departs from the ideas found  your secondary source. One possiblue template is as follows : whereas critic x claims that poem Y demonstrates Z, I propose that Y suggest A instea. Your response to the literary work itself; and your a ability to support your interpretative claims with evidence from he text.
