 Step 1. In the video you just watched in the research section: Assessment for ELs, the teacher utilizes an informal assessment known as the "exit slip." Knowing the importance of continual and intentional language development through the content we teach daily in our classrooms, design an "exit slip"  for the content you teach.

Students should be able to complete this informal assessment in 5-8 minutes.

Your exit slip needs to include all four language domains: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
