The Current State of Education in the United States with regard to

Write an editorial for the school newspaper in which you (1) highlight the current state of education in the United States, (2) explain how the community college system can better meet the needs of students, and (3) provide a call to action for one specific idea for college administration or faculty to help students be more successful that you would like to see implemented 

Instructions: 

● This editorial needs to be 1000 words.

● You will need to utilize at least 2 course materials from ENGL 101 in your editorial by either quoting from or paraphrasing from the articles that we’ve read. 

● You will need to find at least 1 additional source to incorporate into your editorial. It can be from a newspaper, news magazine, book, or journal. 

● Each of the three sections of the prompt should be approximately the same length - in other words, no single part of your editorial should be significantly longer than another. 

● Provide a title for your editorial. 

Formatting: 

● You will need to utilize MLA citation formatting. 

● You should double-space your editorial. 

● You should use Times New Roman 12 font 

● At the end of your editorial, use MLA format to create a Works Cited page. 

● Margins should be 1 inch around the paper.
